To find and promote science-based solutions to challenges which inhibit global access to critical biopharmaceuticals.

BT committee mission:

• Identify and provide opportunities for researchers, industry, and regulators to address long standing and emerging issues which affect global access to biotherapeutics.
• Provide organizational support for meetings where leaders can openly discuss challenges and share information, leading to potential solutions and sparking innovation.
• Engage leaders working in the biopharmaceutical field and health care such that the paths to achieve common goals are well articulated and can be realized.
• Encourage innovation and forward-thinking solutions

BT committee mission:

• Members of the committee represent senior roles in industry and regulatory science*
• Members identify barriers, new technologies, emerging issues, and unmet needs associated with biopharmaceuticals which affect global health and require further discussion, clarification, solutions, or dissemination to a broader community
• Members provide leadership in developing workshops, discussion groups, or conferences where solutions, innovation, clarification, etc.. can be actuated.
• Members take responsibility for attending quarterly meetings, bringing ideas, providing feedback, and participating on Scientific Organizing Committees of IABS events
